Dr. C. de Mahieu Specialist in liposuctie, lipofilling (bilvergroting) en injectables.
Hij studeerde aan de Universiteit van Leuven en is hier in 1984 gepromoveerd. Hij is als huisarts zijn carrière gestart, om zich daarna toe te wijden aan een carrière als onderzoeksarts binnen de Research & Development afdeling van een farmaceutisch en cosmetisch bedrijf.
In 1992 kreeg Dr. de Mahieu interesse in een nieuwe discipline, de cosmetische en esthetische geneeskunde. Van 1992 tot 1996 studeerde hij esthetische en cosmetische geneeskunde aan de Universiteit van Charleroi. Hij specialiseerde zich in die tijd in liposuctie/liposculpture, gelaatsverjonging (botuline toxine, fillers, peeling, laser) en de dermatologie.
Dr. C. de Mahieu is actief in 3 klinieken in Nederland en België. 
Al meer dan 20 jaar verzorgt hij op excellente wijze moderne, goed onderzochte technieken, wat tot veel tevredenheid leidt. Dr. C. de Mahieu is een van de cosmetische artsen die overtuigd is van het feit dat de minder invasieve methoden steeds populairder worden en dat deze de invasieve methoden in de toekomst zullen vervangen. Binnen ABC Clinic voert hij de liposucties (liposculpture), lipofilling (bilvergroting), mesotherapie en chemische peelings uit.
